By taking a close look at the manure, we are able to ascertain which of our horses are shedding lots of eggs onto the pasture. We calculate the eggs per gram of faeces to tell us if it's time to worm...

When to worm?

Many adult horses have built up their own immunity to certain parasites and may not require routine treatment. When we know what's coming out with the manure, we can take steps to keep everything at a safe level. By only worming the ones who need it, we can help prolong the effectiveness of the drugs we have for the horses who need it.
